If you can’t tell, at Independent Helicopters we love what we do. We are passionate about our work and being able to share it with the community, which we are lucky to do nearly every day. Getting to take people up in the air, be it for a romantic Hudson Valley tour or to survey a pipeline trail, the looks of awe on our passenger’s faces get us every time. This weekend we were lucky to get up in the air and see some green starting to sprout along the Hudson (finally!) and explore what’s going on in the area. There’s a lot happening! We also feel very lucky to be able to keep the fun going past the weekend. A quick charter flight to NYC or Saratoga definitely spices up our Monday!
We hope you enjoy following along with us on social media, and if you don’t, please do! And just remember… if you ever need to break up your Monday routine, give us a call!
Is it just us or did March completely fly by? With all of our events for the LLS campaign, it’s been especially hard to keep track of the days. Now that spring is finally here, though, we’re excited to get some more flying time and hopefully take you with us! So, take a break from your workday and explore our online booking feature which allows you to take a look at all of our spring availability. This is the spring that you learn how to fly, or get your family up on that tour! Take advantage of the weather with us. You know you want to.
And everyone in the area, don’t forget to check us out in Middletown for our first round of Helicopter Paintball on Saturday!
To everyone who has been following along with Matt’s LLS Man of the Year Campaign: thank you so much for your continued support and generosity! We hope you’re having as much fun following the campaign as we are running it. Without your participation we would be nowhere. It has been a great few weeks of events, our most recent one being our Pilots for LLS 5k at Stewart International Airport. It was pretty windy and cold, but we had a great turnout and loved seeing everyone come together for such a great cause. And our (wooden) medals were very well received by all finishers!
As we head into April at the end of this week, we are happy with our campaign’s progress so far and urge you to keep spreading the word about our events and activities. Stay tuned for our mid-campaign check in on April 7th! We are definitely still accepting corporate sponsors, if any local businesses out there are interested in participating.
We also urge you to sign up for one of our upcoming Helicopter Paintball Events, which will be held April 3rd in Middletown and April 9th in Troy. We hope to see you there!
Smokin Grate BBQ will be here cooking some amazing food!
We’ll have music provided by WRWD 107.3, cool helicopter medals from FCC Gallery & Awards, water and snacks for the runners, awesome vendors and we’ll be raising money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society!
Download this registration form and mail or email it back to us!
