Certified Flight Instructor: You must have a Commercial Pilot's license before you may obtain a CFI license. The FAA requires 200 hours of flight time (for the Robinson Helicopter) in order to instruct. The CFI license requires much more ground school than the other licenses.
This program will give you the flight time necessary to teach in both the R22 and R44 helicopters.
Course Duration and Cost:
The approximate total will vary upon a students proficiency with flight training and ground school. No flight school is able to guarantee a student a license, and you must be able to pass an FAA exam.
Due to changing weather conditions and individual student proficiency, we cannot guarantee any of the courses duration. There are many factors involved during training that can slow down your completion of a course.
